omg i dont know how to thank you!! you helped me soooooooooooooooooo much…i was trying to find out how to do this for days! Thank you!
i got to the install folder but i got this error message: Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./../includes/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php: /usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/chainwir/public_html/for um/install/index.php on line 151What do i do?
sorry, I don’t have an answer for that one. I can only guess that something went wrong (interrupted?) during unzip and not all files made it out. All i can suggest is to try unzipping again.
Thanks! Just favorited this video!
Thanks Alex! keep up the good work! 5/5 stars

I’ve uploaded phpbb3 to my website, and I’ve created my database. But when i try to install it i get a blank page. Does anybody know what im doing wrong?
In the root of the folder you have uploaded/unzipped the phpbb files/folders to is a file “index.php” that is part of the installation. If you have an exisiting file in the same location, such as “index.html”, or sometimes something odd like “welcome.html” it will block the phpbb index.php file, so delete (after backing up) such files. Also, try typing the path to the installation file directly…yoursite . com / install / index . phpTake a look at the url in my vid at 4:48.
